30 September 2010 is the deadline for the submission of Employment Record Books (”ERB”) to the local pension house, for the purpose of collecting the information related to the employees social contribution previous of 1 April 2001. Along with the ERBs, a copy of the identity card of every employee should be submitted. Non-compliance with the above mentioned legal provisions may trigger a monetary fine between Ron 1.500-5.000.

The Order No. 453/1365 adopted by the Minister of Labour, Family and Social Protection and by the president of the National Institute of Statistics regarding completion of the Classification of Occupations in Romania (”Order No. 453/1365″), published within the Romanian Official Gazette, Part I, No. 447 dated 1 July 2010, brings amendments to the positions which may be included in the individual labour agreement. The annex attached to the Order No. 453/1365 provides the list of the new occupations, completing the Classification of Occupations in Romania, as well as the corresponding codes. In addition, the annex sets forth the replacement of certain positions` titles.
